How Plugin Pros collects, uses, and protects your information — including when you buy through Paddle.

Plugin Pros (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this website and publishes WordPress plugins. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It also covers purchases processed by our payment partner Paddle, which Paddle requires sellers to make available before checkout.

1. Who we are

Plugin Pros builds WordPress plugins for hotel operations, customer communication, and product filtering.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site, answer your questions, and fulfill orders.

  • Contact and support: name, email address, and the message you send through our contact form or email.
  • Website use: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages requested. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Security: if CAPTCHA is enabled on the contact form, Google reCAPTCHA may collect device and usage data to detect spam, under Google’s privacy terms.
  • Purchases: when you buy a paid product, Paddle collects billing and payment details as Merchant of Record. We may receive your name, email, the product purchased, tax/VAT information needed for the order, and Paddle transaction identifiers. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.

We do not require an account to browse this website. Free plugins distributed on WordPress.org are subject to WordPress.org’s own privacy practices when you use that site.

3. How we use information

  • Respond to support, sales, and contact requests.
  • Operate, secure, and improve this website and our plugins.
  • Fulfill orders, issue licenses or download access, and handle returns or refunds for paid products.
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
  • Prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments processed by Paddle

If we sell a paid product, checkout is handled by Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record: it processes the payment, issues the receipt, and collects applicable sales tax or VAT. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.

5. WordPress.org

Some Plugin Pros software is listed on WordPress.org. If you visit WordPress.org, download a plugin from there, or comment on plugin support forums, WordPress.org and Automattic collect and process data under their own policies. Our public author profile is: profiles.wordpress.org/sakibbd08.

6. Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for WordPress to work (for example, logged-in admin sessions). The public contact form may load reCAPTCHA, which can set cookies or similar storage. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Who we share information with

We share information only with services that help us operate:

  • Website hosting and email delivery providers that process data on our instructions.
  • Paddle, for paid checkout, invoicing, tax, fraud prevention, and refunds.
  • Google, if reCAPTCHA is used on the contact form.
  • Authorities, if required by law.

8. How long we keep information

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to provide support and maintain a record of the conversation. Order-related records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, refunds, and legal obligations. Paddle retains payment records according to its own policies.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To make a request, email us using the address below. For purchase data held by Paddle, we may need to refer you to Paddle or work with Paddle to respond.

10. International transfers

Our hosting, email, Paddle, and other providers may process information in countries other than yours. Those providers are expected to protect the data using appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

11. Children

This website and our products are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you have been informed of the revised policy.
